I am ON Mixtard 30 Insulin 22-0-12 before food plus tablets. IF I TAKE 18 HERBS DIA-T AYURVEDIC TEA., my hBa1C IS 7.8 .CAN I REDUCE INSULIN?

My tablets intake GLYCEPHAGE (500 mg) 1-0-1

GLUCO R FORTE 1-0-1

polybion czs 1-0-0

FIBROVAS 0-0-1

PREVA AS 75 0-1-0

ALL THE ABOVE AFTER FOOD

I AM 73 YEARS AND DIABETIC SINCE 35 YEARS AND HAVE NO PROBLEMS AS YET

CHOLESTTEROL :150 TRYGLYCERIDE: 300 BP: 120:80

No - you cannot reduce the Insulin. Pl try and bring the HbA1c to less than 7. In my opinion, you may need to take additional Insulin in the night. Howeer pl consult yr Doctor.

Generally insulin is better than drugs, unless you have insulin resistance. Cut down on intake of carbs and follow exercise regime. Soon your hb1ac will improve and you will be able to reduce your insulin and meds. Try homeopathic meds.

no insullin is best.try to increase night dose by dr.consultation
