I was asked to share my hwp Protocol - I share only because it is supporting him and he is not on any Parkinson medications. Daily Brain (30 day supplement) breakfast prepackaged - inc. grapeseed extract, phosphatidylserine, curcumin, omega-3 EPA/DHA, 10 billion Probiotic. Check out nationalnutrition.ca - ship international. EPA/DHA - noon/dinner; Vit. C 3x/day; N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine 2x/day; **Mag Malate & Mag L-Threonate (alternate weekly) 3x/day; Vit. E 2/day w/meal; Methyl Combo - Methyl B12 & Methyl Folate 2/day; Pantothenic Acid 2/day (for peeing); Zinc 2/day; Vit.D/K2 - 5000 (5 drops); high dose Probiotic; 1 tbsp - Coconut Oil; MCT oil in pure cranberry juice; fruit mixture inc. Makuna Honey, Mucuna pruriens, Ashawaganda Root powder, Tumeric Fermented pwd. included in his morning smoothie. EXERCISE can't emphasis enough - his preference is walking - learning great technique by John Popper (member of this site). Hwp for 6 years now - late 2020 he tried Carbidopa/Levodop caused falling, dizziness, sense of being drunk so now we continue on the Protocol above which is supporting him! Natural Dopamine producing products - L-Tyrosine, Mucuna, L-Theanine, Rhodiola. Hwp is 72 years old, parkinson is slowly progressing, tremor is minimal, MCI is slow as well. mucuna contains levodopa. That may be why he did not do well on the C/L

He didn't start the mucuna till we saw that the Levodopa was affecting him badly.

Spencer,Thank you so much for this detailed protocol. Just 2 questions:1. can you please clarify " Pantothenic Acid 2/day (for peeing)" - the dosage (mg) and how does it help with urination?

2. "MCT oil in pure cranberry juice" - do you mean unsweetened cranberry juice? Is it part of the morning smoothie or you just mix MCT oil with cranberry juice as a drink? Must be quite sour...

The Pantothenic Acid (B5) was intended to ease excessive urination but is also helps the body metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins. 1 tablet w/meal. Hwp has been prone to UTI and this is another support for him. If a UTI occurs another product D-Mannose can ease UTI pain. The Pantothenic was recommended to him by a nutritionist.The MCT is a liquified version of Coconut Oil. Hwp puts it in Pure Cranberry Juice as well as a tsp. of Organic Lemon Juice. It's not sweet at all and does require an acquired taste for it. The benefit is there is no sugar and the point of the juice is to help offset any UTI. I use the MCT in cranberry juice and add water for some dilution for same reason re: UTI

You're welcome. Another supplement for urinary matters is called - Uva Ursi Busserole suggest taking 2/day. 440mg.

One great suggestion given to us by an Integrative doctor was to get an Infrared Sauna. We purchased one at Costco (Online). After she had reviewed hwp protocol (she was impressed) and inspired say "if only half my patients would do this. She specialized in Parkinson. The sauna is healing and the sweating removes toxins in the body. Protocol - 15 minutes in sauna, 30 second cool shower; does four 15 minute sessions.

Thankyou. So much for sharing. Is l-serine not good enough ? And I wonder do U take your NAC on empty stomach? How much is a therapeutic dose? What brand macuna ? With green t a extract? How much? Empty stomach? I think my dad is getting benefit from B1. Have you seen the video on U tube of David PEARLMUTTER Parkinson's glutathione?Amazing difference. My dad can be good then his walk goes bad usually as the day goes on. Meds did not work.

I thought macuna use to help but lately it's made his gait worse. So we stopped.

Thought Vitex helped for a while.

The NAC is taken in conjunction with a meal. 600 mg per capsule. I'm not familiar with I-serine. Organic Traditions Mucuna-Kapikacchu Powder 1 tsp. in smoothie. There is no green tea extract in this brand but drinking green tea is recommended. Most supplements are generally better with food. I read book by Dr. Perlmutter; Dr. Dale Bredesen. Other books as well, Dr. Perlmutter has a website. Last week I supported hwp to try John Popper's walking technique (Conscious Walking) - it was a remarkable change and hwp needs to keep practicing in order for it to become the norm. Yesterday, was a challenge for him but we can see the benefit. John Popper is a member of this site. Walking off his Parkinson's symptoms. Amazing. Hope this helps.

Since I shared his protocol, I give a level tsp. of Mucuna in water before any breakfast and supplements and again at night after dinner.
