I'm doing Dr. Mischley's DHA protocol for dyskinesia (healthunlocked.com/cure-par.... I started my second bottle of high-dose DHA this past Friday.
I feel like I'm experiencing almost exactly what she said she sees in her patients. I still have dyskinesia, but it's reduced by about 50%, and because it wasn't severe to begin with, it's barely noticeable now--mostly just a tight feeling in my left arm and a brief flexing of my left foot for a few minutes. I've even had a few days where I didn't notice it at all as my mucuna/carbidopa wore off. I'm going to finish this second month at the high dose, then switch to the standard daily dose and add the CDP choline and see what happens. I'm hoping that might allow me to further reduce my mucuna/carbidopa dose and totally eliminate the dyskinesia.
The other interesting thing I've been noticing is that for the past 2 weeks, I've been falling asleep almost as soon as I shut my eyes (still using THC edibles), which hasn't happened in several years (I'm 5 1/2 years post-diagnosis, 6 years from onset of very obvious symptoms). Even with THC, it usually takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep. In addition, if I wake up to use the restroom now, I'm getting back to sleep effortlessly, AND I seem to be getting more REM sleep because I'm having a lot of normal dreams again (and yet no RBD, which I have had several times in the past). The constant dark circles under my eyes that I've had since early 2022 also look a little better.
I Googled, and it looks like DHA can positively impact sleep, so it's *possibly* a secondary benefit I didn't expect. FYI, I've made no other supplement or dietary changes this past month.

Super DHA Forte Liquid by Pharmax/Genestra, it's about two grams DHA per teaspoon, and I take two teaspoons a day.
Editing to add (because I forgot to answer part of your question) that I take a teaspoon in the AM when I get up and then another teaspoon later in the day whenever I happen to remember. I don't really pay any attention to the time or how many hours it has been between doses.
My sense of taste isn't great, but the oil that I purchased does not taste fishy to me. They add orange oil to it, so that's really the only thing that I notice.
I take the DHA liquid when I get up in the morning and then again in the late afternoon or early evening (whenever it's convenient). It seems like the sleep benefits started kicking in after three or four weeks on the DHA (can't quite remember). I'm continuing to sleep better and I'm still having lots of normal dreams without RBD.
The DHA hasn't eliminated my dyskinesia, but it seems to have decreased it significantly. It's all on my left/affected side. My left foot "taps" and rolls inward rhythmically, I get a lot of painful cramping in my leg if I'm trying to walk, and my left arm gets really tight-feeling and swings up behind my back like someone's trying to twist my arm.
Back in early December, I was out shopping and dyskinesia hit while I was in the store. It was so severe and painful that it was kind of scary trying to get out of the store and back to my car. I've been taking the DHA since December 15. The day before yesterday (January 24), I was shopping at Target and dyskinesia started. My left arm felt a little bit tight and I was was limping just a little on my left leg (it felt wonky but not painful), but that was about it. I was able to finish all of my shopping and it passed after about 10 minutes. Not perfect, but much better than it was.
Per Dr. Mischley's video, "...there's a supplement called citicoline or CDP choline and what it does we think that the mechanism is it makes you grow new dopamine receptors."
