Calproctine of 92 in june

Calproctine of 47 in october

Had a colonscopy that also looked into the beginning of small intestines they took biopsies nothing found bloodwork showed low iron im a meat eater but ibd isnt suspected nor found all other vitamins at good levels im still afraid of ibd

Hi. If your levels all came back normal and your calprotectin is that low then you definitely don't have IBD so you should stop worrying. If you are having gastro symptoms then most likely to just be IBS.

If you have symptoms and calprotectin is still above the normal range , the doctors usually will recommend pillcam endoscopy to check the part of small bowel that cannot be reached with colonoscopy. Just stay calm and get to bottom of this if you really have symptoms. Don't leave anything to chances or diagnosis like IBS without full check, especially when calprotectin is above normal reference range.
