Mucus surrounding stool

Hi everyone, over the past few days I’ve had my stomach go a bit funny with loose stools and I’ve started to take omeprazole due to stomach acid.

I’ve needed to go the the toilet 3 times over the past couple hours and my stools have been coming out like this with bad abdominal cramping. Any ideas?

I have similar issueswith lansoprazole. Gone back to Gaviscon!
