I hope the colonoscopy went well but, in my experience, it's not the procedure you have to worry about - it's the day before with the prep and all that dashing to the loo.

I've had two colonoscopies and I sincerely hope I'll never have to have another one but that's just wishful thinking because it's inevitable when you have UC. The prep seems to take forever to have any effect on me and when it does...well...let's just say that after I've cleaned everything you could eat your dinner off my bathroom floor!

This has been my sixth colonoscopy. I was actually worried about the result. I’ve had 4 different brands of prep and Picoprep is the best one I’ve ever had. Instead of drinking a whole liter it’s just 3 glasses, and it worked after an hour of drinking it. It cleared out my system after the second glass !

That sounds very much like I had last time except mine was 2 glasses preceeded by a few ex-lax the night before.

Good luck, I hope all goes well. I don’t know what they are like where you are but when I have had one I am sedated and don’t remember a thing. The worst part is the preparation. I hope the results show there is no problem.

Thanks ! We get sedated here too, but I end up remembering a lot of what happened. The results were good !

I never remember any of it except the prep. Glad to hear the results were good.
