So fed up!

Hi everyone,

I’m so fed up it’s unreal. So I’ve had another ‘flare’ in my symptoms (not yet diagnosed as crohns) and my gp was lovely and referred me to gastro for a scope. That same day, they bounced the referral back to my gp and said they won’t do the scope!!! They want a calprotectin done first which is no doubt going to come back ok! I’m absolutely praying it comes back elevated bcos I feel like I’m losing the will with it all now. I’ve been in agony for over a week, off work again and they are already on my back for my sickness, basically been lying on the sofa doing nothing due to the pain and sickness feeling! I don’t understand how someone can refuse to see you???! Anyway, just needed to rant!!! Sorry guys!! 🙈

Hi Emma what are your syptoms? And have you been sorted?

I'm in the same boat at the minute calaproctin level of 159 and just ad to do it again to see if it comes back high again before they will do a scope.

Honestly gets me down feel like no-one believes me honest it drives me mad!!!
