Virtual colonoaspy

hi all,

Just wanted to ask if it normal to have or suffer a noisy bowel after a virtual colonoscopy? Can here all the noise in my stomach and feel it too! My bowel has emptied as I have constant diarrhoea since last Tuesday, due to an infection in my bowel due to diverticulier disease.

Hi yes it is as they have to put a certain amount of air in your bowel.it can be a bit uncomfortable but your be ok.

As Anep said they pump some air into the bowel. This can take a few days to disperse

Husband had similar problems after his and did take up to a week to settle, so be encouraged....Tinkerbell 13
