Just come back from my run after work and enjoyed myself even though it is low visibility and rainy. I think as much as anything it's the getting outside regularly by myself, doing this for ME.
My trainers now have mud on them. Do I stuff them with paper and brush down if necessary when dry? Any tips?
I hope my enthusiasm continues. I'll have to change my profile from scared soon!!

Well done, you'll soon see that C25Kers experience the entire range of global weathers on the course of their challenges
If your running shoes are quite new and have a kind of mesh fabric covering with lots of holes in, you may well find they dry quickly indoors with no need for stuffing with paper. Those with leather or plastic uppers will probably benefit from paper stuffing to help them keep their shape. These take a longer time to dry!
When dry, brush off any lumps of dried mud, otherwise your next outing will soon flex any debris off along your local track
Yep, shake off scaredy-cat profile and swap to enthusiastic and ongoing! Good luck for your next run.
