Started properly last week and am looking forward to / dreading wk2 run 1 tomorrow. Have been really pleased at being able to keep up with the three week 1 runs despite being a real couch potato and not having exercised properly for about 10 years.
Is it just me, or does the 30 mins seem more like an hour?!

Good for you! You've made the right life choice with C25K.
As for the 30mins/1hour quandry, it depends on where you're running. On the treadmill (or as some call it, the "dreadmill"), minutes will feel like hours; outside and your attention is distracted by so many different factors that the time passes quite quickly (well, somedays at any rate).
Great news! Well done - onwards and upwards now. As for the time blurs .... I think my problem was listening to Laura's music... It's ok (it wouldn't ever be my choice though!) and since I didn't know the tunes, I had no idea how long they would last. The result for me was a feeling that they sometimes went on forever... so the runs/walks seemed to drag a bit too. You may just find that once you get used to the tunes, and you find your own running rhythm the time will pass much more quickly.... Cos you'll be admiring the scenery etc etc as con-brio suggests :). Lots of luck with the runs ahead. Linda
Thanks for your encouraging comments. I would definitely struggle on a treadmill and have enjoyed a lovely flat canal path. I know what you mean about the music- its not bad, but after 9 weeks I think it might be dragging a bit. Don't want to moan though, as so far it is a really great programme.
