Week 1 done weirdly 60 seconds didn't seem so long today. Not sure if it is because the plan works or because I was intent on getting to the city farm for breakfast. Walked home so was nearly a 5 mile round trip. Nicely knackered.
But worried about week 2. But I will do it.

Well done for completing week 1. Don't worry about week 2. I was very apprehensive about it but it was ok.
I found it as hard as week 1 run 2, but I suppose that's the point. It stretches your body's capabilities. And your body will be capable of more and more each week.
It's my W2R2 tonight and I am really looking forward to it. I hope you do well and enjoy it too
There are no easy weeks I'm afraid - each one will stretch you. But don't worry about the jumps from week to week, it is tried and tested. If you need to take more rest days then do so, and should you fail to complete a run then just come back and repeat.
You will go int W2 with not one but three runs under your belt. Your stamina will be building up from this. Your body will ache, but the exercise is building them muscles. The real challenge is believing in your self. GO for it!!
I also finished week 2 today, I'm looking forward to week 3 now even though I've still not looked ahead to the run/walk pattern, I want to be surprised lol
You must be on same schedule as me. I try to do mon , wed and Friday giving me two days to recover before the first of a new week because I instinctively feel this will be the hardest. But if I am delayed by injury, weather etc I can still slip to Saturday without having to delay the start of next week. The sun has finally come out and snow is melting here, I think it is all adding to my good mood😀
That was my thoughts exactly, I don't have any waterproof running gear at the minute so with Monday, Wednesday and Friday skipping a day due to adverse weather conditions doesn't have too much of an impact because I can still get the 3 runs into a week.
Although I would like a bit of drizzle to see if it keeps me cool.
Not if you don't let it scare you. I found it as hard running 90 secs in week 2 as I did running 60 in week 1 but not harder, if that makes sense. I think that constitutes progress! Maybe it's just my logic!
