Day 2 5x50

Yesterday I started with a 5k walk which was great. After not running for quite a while I bit the bullet and went out this morning to run/walk. Wasn't sure where to start on the programme but as I find it better to have Laura timing me I decided to give week 4 a go to see how I would manage. I'm delighted to say that I did it and once I settled into it I think I could have run for a bit longer so next time maybe week 5. Just a case of finding out how much I can do without overdoing it before I get back to the full 30mins. I'm so pleased to be back to it after falling by the wayside for a while.

I have logged it on the 5x50 website but as I didn't measure the distance, just the time, it says the distance is 0! I'll have to edit that later (with an estimated distance) as apparently you can't edit the entry using an ipad which I'm on at the moment. Will have to wait until I'm at home later - can't let the side down with no distance at all!

Good luck to everyone else!

That's lovely - 5x50 getting you back into running again. :)

Well done for taking the plunge back into running; so glad the challenge is helping you! You will be back to 30 mins in no time I'm sure. Oh yes, please enter the distance as it all helps! ;)
