Back to 20 minutes! It's like W5R3 all over again! :D

Today I made it back up to 20 minutes. I've been building up slowly from 7 minutes after eight weeks on the IC and wasn't sure I'd hit 20 minutes today as my last run was 17 and I felt a bit stiff the day after. Once I started the run though I knew it was going to be a good one! Went slow, slowed down, went a bit slower and 20 minutes later was still feeling great! It was just a great run from start to finish - don't you just love those fantastic runs?! Stayed sensible and stopped at 20 minutes even though I felt I could have gone on for longer. Responded to a post a few days ago and I echoed thoughts that reaching that 20 minutes again with no ankle niggle will feel like I'm back to running properly! It's like completing that milestone of W5R3 all over again! :D Perfect timing too as off backpacking for a couple of weeks tomorrow and now so glad that I've got my fitness back to be able to do some more holiday runs.

So here's Melly signing off for a couple of weeks. For all those about to graduate, I will be thinking of you and cheering you on! Massive congratulations when you get there! For those of you starting out, welcome to the forum and to C25k! It's an amazing programme, an amazing forum with incredible people - give it a go and you will soon be running for 30 minutes and loving it! For those of you somewhere in the middle, keep going! You're doing great. Follow the advice from the people here and you'll get that graduation badge before you know it.
