I DID IT (even with the wind blowing against me!)

Can’t quite believe that in 9 weeks that I’ve gone from thinking 1 minute runs were hard to running for 30 minutes!!

In fact, my last 2 runs were longer as I was so close to 5k that I carried on. Super chuffed that I ran my route of 5.3km in 32 minutes (more interested in the running for 30 minutes, but I do like to compete with myself and try to beat my pb!)

Thank you for all the support on this site. I mostly wrote my posts to keep myself accountable and to keep a record to look back on, but people have been so lovely with their supportive messages. It’s such a great community :)

Onwards and upwards as I continue to run post C25K (after a little break for our 10-year anniversary trip to Dublin - at least I know I can come back to running afterwards to make up for all the food and drink that will be consumed!!)

(Will go have a read of the post-C25K article on the FAQs, but if anyone has any personal suggestions for what worked for them after graduation, please let me know x)

Congratulations- my advice is to just enjoy your runs for 3 weeks before moving on, and perhaps try parkrun if you haven’t yet.
