Maybe just get on the treadmill and see how you do? No harm in repeating runs if you need to. If you have any type of sharp pain that continues, it may be a good idea to have it checked out. Most people experience some aches, pains and discomfort in the earlier weeks as we build and strengthen muscle. Good luck! Gayle
Maybe you need to think about your trainers, are they up to the job. I started with an old pair of trainers and had pains up the sides of my legs. I then went to a running shop and had some trainers fitted and keep these for running only. X
It won't hurt to repeat just one run for week 2 to get you back into running again especially as you have been recoving from an injury which was run related. Good luck in getting back to it and I agree perhaps a check on your gait would be advisable in case you need new running shoes.
