Inside ankle tendon help?

Haven't been running for most of last week due to ladies problems and a sore possible tendon on the inside of my ankle running part way up my lower leg. Tried googling up about tendons and think it might be my posterior tibial tendon. I'm worried about doing some damage to it and messing up any running for weeks on end. Any advice folks?

Rest it, go to your GP and have it checked and in the mean time try an ice pack. Have you got the right running shoes? (just a thought)

definitely rest it! I had a niggle with this. ran on it and then had 3 weeks where I could bearly walk. I saw a physio, 3 days of ibuprofen regularly and ice packs and rest helped alot.
