I have been on holiday and managed to get a couple of runs in. Been back for about a week and have just been getting back into the swing of things with a couple of 5Ks under my belt. I have noticed that after the last couple of runs, my Achilles' tendon has been hurting. It doesn't hurt if I run or walk but it does hurt if I rub it.
All the research says I have to stop running until the ache disappears. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as not running makes me sad.

Oh im a expert on this ,My advice would be rest it a bit &Do some stretches, .the ones my physio had me doing was have a wall as support , bend front leg ,step back with other and press heel into floor . Repeat with other leg ,this works wonders . Don't ignore this pain as I did in the past and end up out of action for weeks . Wishing you well .
