I am so annoyed with myself. I was doing my second run of week two and decided that i would have a change of scenery and ran the opposite direction on one of my routes. Didnt think it through very well, as realised on my last run that i would be running up hill. Only done about one minute and felt a twinge.
I have experienced very tight and painful calves (like the majority) and still have alot of pain walking between my shin and foot but then i felt pain in my left knee and had to walk (limp) home. Oh dear .....now im in pain and im hobbling.
I can press and feel the pain like you would a bruise and it actually only really hurts when i put weight on it but wondered if any one out there would have an idea what i have actually done? It is just below my knee cap, towards the inside of my leg and the pain is on the bone.
Hopefully its just a matter of resting it for a few days and then back to it.
Anyone experienced similar?
