Running in the rain.

I put W8r1 off yesterday because it was so cold and grey. Raining again this morning but I reluctantly left the cats curled up in front of the fire and headed out. Then I couldn't get the podcast to play - I think my phone is dying- and began to think 'Yippee! I'll have to go back in' . However the thought of the embarrassment of admitting that the rain had put me off was too much so I went off running without Laura. I did feel more than a bit silly and I was expecting to find myself admitting defeat half way through as the rain was getting heavier and heavier and my jacket isn't waterproof anymore.

But no! This was the easiest run I've done, the rain turned to drizzle and when I checked the time I'd done 29 minutes. I am so happy! Love it!

That is really great running. Not sure just how much extra effort it takes to run with the extra weight of wet clothes but I am sure it means you have put in even more effort than a normal 29 minute run in the sun, well done you!
