Well I’m just back from a great run in the rain. I’ve been out before when it rained half way through but today I started and finished in the rain. I loved it and my easiest 5k to date. The temperature was perfect. Now I’m a “Rain Running” advocate.
Next week I’m going to try my first park run 🏃♀️- really excited - wish me luck.

Great job. Starting in the rain is a big step, when it comes midrun it’s refreshing but warming up and setting off in the rain takes a nice dash of crazy. I love running in the rain, which is fortunate where I live!

I’ve been consolidating for the last few weeks and now successfully achieved 5 *5k and delighted to be honest so now going to do a park run on Saturday- today for the first time I felt I could do more but happy to consolidate for another 2 weeks - then may try 6 and so on!! Any tips ???
I can't wait to do a rain run!!! Well done! Tell me, what do you wear? Surely you get wet but don't care? I get hot when i run so i really want to wear the bare minimum.
Hi Mayanow - it’s just lovely running in the rain - I’m inclined to get hot so just went out in my normal gear and once home a hot shower - just T-shirt and leggings- my usual gear - haven’t yet invested in proper running gear - but perhaps next month will buy proper running leggings and top !!
