The walking's getting quicker!

So hopefully I could soon be running. I walked another 3 miles today and shaved 10 minutes off my previous time. I know, can't wait to get back out there. I have my sports massage on Saturday and Yoga on Friday so we'll see whether my leg wants to co operate or not. It will be 4 weeks this Friday since I went for a run, my the time is flying. No snow here but bitter out, still lovely day for a run :)

Happy running everyone.

;)

Oh have lost 6 lbs, have cut down on meat, cut out bread and have been eating loads of veg, so something's working. Not sure if the 'Fast Diet' worked in the end, just gone back to very healthy eating, hurray!

Well done with the 6lbs - that's great! Ten minutes off your previous walk time is not bad at all - you'll hardly need to run! ;)

Yes thanks greenlegs, don't know if it's a combination of cutting out bread and not eating red meat that I'm losing the weight, feel much calmer since the yoga as well. Hubby keeps calling me a hippy now!!

Peace man

;)

I think my will would crumble if injury prevented me running for any length of time, so fair play to you for your effort in maintaining some fitness while you recuperate.

I look forward to reading the blog of your first run.

'Fraid to say I'm so used to re-starting this programme Fingalo! I just keep thinking I should be out there soon and summer's on the way etc...

I admire your fortitude.

Agree re the summer, I don't feel the cold when I run but it will be nice to go out in just a t-shirt.
