Back in the Zone

I've kept running all through the winter, through the cold and generally horrible weather, although it was often a bit of a plod. I'm now on a conscious effort always to do at least 30 mins on every run. This week has been the first where I've felt properly back in the zone - the one where you get into your stride, do the 30 mins (or more) and just feel that you can keep going, and going, and going. This is still a way short of the "flying" zone where you up the pace to the point where you feel you're flying, and just keep going. Not there yet, but I've been there before and will be again. Now let's have some nice weather to do it in.

I've been much the same Ned, winter was mostly plodding but like you I have had a couple of runs recently which remind me what it's all about - roll on spring. :-)

I shall look forward to that 'flying' zone - it sounds pretty good! May be a way off yet, but who knows!

It may surprise you; it was completely unexpected the first time it happened to me and it was just magic!

Well my run today wasn't flying, but it was pretty good and I did keep going longer than I'd intended to, so I'm on my way!

It will come Greenlegs, & it's as wonderful as Ned says. :-)

I wish I could fly! I do keep repeating my mantra of 'I'm a gazelle' but I'm actually quite a ploddy gazelle, really :D

I'm really looking forward to spring too, and enjoying being out again. Happy running to you!
