...of my sports massage man today. He was surprised I'd pulled a quad muscle, usually people pull their hamstrings or calves. Good news was he said I could maybe go for a run on Monday depending on how I felt. I was going to say it's all downhill from now, but probably uphill and around. Tee hee! It wasn't as painful as the first time, apparently the more massages you have the less painful it is. When he stops being free I will have to rely on my foam roller, must be great to have a personal sports masseuse. Oh well. Main thing is my legs feel great, loose and flexible, he also said I had defined quads, get me!!
So fingers crossed for next week, I'll nail that elusive green badge yet!

I know! He's doing his student training at a running shop and he offers free sports massages every week till he's got all the hours/practice he needs for his course. So I'm helping him out and he's definitely helping me.
You need to ask him how we can find those in a similar position as they must be countrywide. I reckon there would be plenty of volunteers ready to help them reach the hours required....
To be honest my legs have given me next to no grief at all so far but I suspect that will change as I push closer to 10k. I keep reading of these rollers, I'm away to have a look at what they are and what they do.
