Well done on the run.
Sorry, can't help with the song! Just wait till you get to the Julie one. I can't remember which week it is, but that's really something to look forward to.
I think it comes up in week 6 from what the others have said... cannot wait
How is it being a graduate now?
Thanks a bunch! Just as 'I've had enough of you and Julie' had stopped playing in my brain 24/7!
I was even hearing it on Bridge to 10k, when I'd left my iPod at home in shame
Thanks for asking. Being a graduate is just t*he best*! I have enjoyed every run since my grad run - I'm loving varying what I do. Today's was a short one, only 18 minutes, but with bursts of as fast as I could manage (my usual pace is around 6kph, but I managed to get up to the dizzying heights of 9kph for up to a minute - woo!), but then needed to walk for a bit to avoid collapsing.
So maybe that's the power of those weird week 6 mixed run/walk sessions - realising that putting a bit of walking in can enable a greater total distance or greater speed. Overall, I went faster today, even though some of it was walking. Interesting! Good fun too. And my calf is fine today, after being a bit achey yesterday.
And I don't listen to music any more - I like hearing what's going on around me.
Oh no, it's in mine now, oh saved by Bowie track on radio, phew
I sometimes replay week 1 just to hear that song. It might be sad, but I just love it.
I'll leave now ...
I love running to that song! I can't quite tell from your comment if you like it or not, but just so you know, it also appears in R2 and R3 of Week 6.
There was music to the podcast? I must of been delirious from lack of oxygen. All I can remember hearing was my own heart beating up in my head and my huffing and puffing!! Gayle
