Hurrah I've done it!

It's only taken me 7 months to complete the 9 weeks but at long last I've done it. My run today was 32 mins 47 seconds and I ran 5km. I'm well chuffed, considering when I started back in July last year, a 40 second run was enough for me. Now I just need my graduate badge.

Well done Hare! Another graduate in the badge queue! Who cares how long it took - you can do it. So satisfying isn't it! :)

What a great graduation time as well as completing the programme! You must be very chuffed with yourself! Have you thought what your next challenge will be? :)

Thanks for all your comments. Yes, indeed, what next? I'd really like to be able to run 5k and actually enjoy it while I'm doing it! So I think I might just keep up the 5k runs 2 or 3 times a week. I've also had a look at the 5k+ podcasts and might have a go at those.

I posted my success on Facebook as well this morning and a friend has suggested a the 10k Race for Life in May so that's something to think about!

Congratulations, Graduate! :-) Excellent 5K time! If you ever find out the secret to when a 5K is fun, will you share it with me please?? :-) I can't really say I find running fun but I do find it very rewarding. Go for the 10K! We are currently doing a 6 week program and finding it much like C25K, challenging but attainable. Gayle
