Got soaked too last night and my first run through puddles - gave up dodging them after 5 mins but it was great fun :) So soaked shoes are drying out and my other pair are raring to go :D

Here here for Spring to emerge.......

Oh no, I've been lucky so far and it's only rained on my off days - so far. I was going to toss out my old sneakers once I finally bought some decent running shoes, which I'm hoping to do this weekend, but this made me realize I should hang on to them for rainy days. Just thinking about new expensive sneakers getting wet and rotting away makes me cringe. Good job to everyone who doesn't let the weather slow them down.

Although we do see snow once in a while in the winter, around this time of year we're getting some balmy spring-like days along with an occasional rain shower or thunderstorm. However, it's the summer that I'm a little worried about for running because it gets really hot here, sometimes up into the 100's. In 2011 we had a record breaking 71 consectutive days of 100 degree (37.8 celsius) or higher temperatures. Now that was one long, hot summer.

As for England, I'd love to visit there some time, no matter the weather!! :)

wow 100 degrees eh? golly thats hot..was in Florida last yr(Disney) for two weeks and tried running whilst there but even though I went first thing in the morning it was sooo humid....loved it though and wud love to be there now as I look out of my window to see snow and frost!!

If you come to England bring some warm clothing with you!!
