So..... I haven’t run or exercised in almost a week due to other commitments. Can’t wait to get back to it and hopefully I’ll manage ok, keep everything crossed for me.

Probably do 5k I think, take it gently and not worry about pace

You’re gonna be just fine... a week’s rest isn’t a negative at all, the legs will be fresh, you’ll still be stronger than last time you ran, and it’ll feel great to get moving again. Enjoy the run.

Was horrendous...... did 1 measly kilometre and gave up... various reasons:

1, hungover

2, dehydrated

3, can hardly walk from yesterday’s body pump class

I’ll give it another go tomorrow

Well, 1 & 2 are the same thing 😂

I don’t like the sound of this body pump stuff... I’m gonna avoid it!

You’ll get it tomorrow. And a run is a run... every run gives you something.

Yeah I’m feeling pretty rubbish still, eating loads of carbs to feel better 🤣🤣🤣 body pump Is ace, just hurts first few times until you get used to it.

Yep re- motivated for tomorrow, got a circuits class after too 😩

I try to lol but forgot I’d agreed to this class, it’s my shortest run of the week so seemed the best placed day to double up

You’ll be fine. Don’t think you’ll have lost any fitness in a week. Enjoy and have fun - you’ll smash it 😁

Too much red wine and gin = a hungover Suzanne... tried and failed run, I’m so sore from my class yesterday too that it hurts to walk never mind run 🙈🙈🙈

Ahhhh. We all need red wine and gin in our lives. 😁. You’ll be back at the running soon. Hope the hangover isn’t too bad 🙈

Going to run tomorrow night if my legs are less sore.... hangover easing a little bit, don’t know what even possessed me to attempt a run feeling that bad!!!!

At least you gave it a go- the gin and wine are great at the time but always a problem the morning after. Enjoy tomorrow’s run. 😁
