Well week 2 run 2 done who would think a extra 30 seconds would be so difficult. Thinging of doing week 1 again until I can do it easily. What do you guys think. A very unfit nanny p.
Not doing so good: Well week 2 run 2 done who... - Couch to 5K
Not doing so good

If you managed to do it, personally I would try to carry on if you can, doing the run three times means it does get easier (never easy though). I found each step up really difficult but somehow managed to do it. Believe in yourself you can do it

I agree with the person above, If you completed the run, I'd say keep going. You just might need to do a few extra week 2 runs before you feel comfortable going to week 3.
Would you believe it if I said I could not do 90 seconds of running?
Would you believe me if I said it? (last August?)
Don't go back to week 1, that's going backward as you've done 2 week 2 runs, but feel free to repeat week 2 before going on to week 3. When you can do the 90 seconds then progress to week 3.
Top tip: Slow down a bit, just a gentle jog. A lot of the failures to do the full time are due to setting off at too fast a pace. Slow and sure, be the tortoise not the hare, you can always speed up a bit more if you feel it's getting too easy.

hi nannyp
if you managed the week 2 run 1 and run 2! (well done) I would try run 3 - remember that the 'running' bit should be as slow a run as you can - maybe you were trying to go too fast?
Personally I would try run 3 as slowly as you can, see whether that makes any difference, and decide whether to repeat a week or a run then
You've done so well already
Thanks for all your help I will let you know how I get on. Dont think I will be booking a place in the london mathron any time soon.
I can only agree with what others have said. And wish you the best of luck with run 3.

Yes - slow and steady definitely works. It made a huge difference for me (see my badge).
I am still very slow, but can keep going (just) for twenty minutes, *If* I don't do any silly speeding up business, especially at the start.

Don't be down hearted. You will be amazed at how quickly you will feel fitter. Whichever week you decide to go for you'll be a winner, just don't stop!
Good luck.
Thanks guys as long as the snow is not to bad I will attempt run 3 of week 2 this weekend
