Hi

I'd like to get an armband case for my iPhone. Looking online they all seem to have very mixed reviews. Has any one got one they would recommend?

Thanks loads

J

I tried an armband but couldn't get on with it. Instead, I bought a waist belt from sweatshop which allows my to keep my phone relatively hidden but also easily accessible for when needed.

I got one from Tesco - about £4. I didn't want a see through one that would advertise my iPhone even more than necessary hot would-be muggers lol. This is that nephrone (spelling?) type material and does me quite nicely :-).

I am trying to visualise "hot would-be muggers" - an interesting concept! A good way to distract the potential victim perhaps?!

I liked my armband but I've got a new phone and it won't fit. The Karrimor armband won't fit an iphone in it but the audiobelt will. I've got new running tights that have a pocket so I just put my phone in there. I just got a karrimor audiobelt too but I haven't tried it out yet.

I bought a 'TuneBelt' for my iPhone 6months ago (link: mrqw.es/t/ff) and it done the job well. It kept my phone dry in the rain, snug fit for the phone etc etc.

There are cheaper armbands out there (saw some for a few quid) but thought I'd rather spend a bit more on an armband that'll protect my iPhone. I wouldn't want a cheap armband with cheap materials failing whilst I'm running with an expensive phone strapped to my arm.

Thanks everyone.

I posted this and then promptly got ill and had to take to my bed for a few days

I hadn't thought of a belt, but think I'll take a look at sweatshop. Maybe better than an arm band, especially for avoiding attention and muggers, hot or otherwise!

Hey i've just got the belkin one

amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Neopren...

I've only used it once so far but it was good for my iphone. The screen is still usable under the plastic and it doesn't move when it's on your arm. I haven't used the key pocket yet as i'm not 100% that the key won't fall out.
