Phone solution needed

I use the app on my phone whilst I run, plus the Map My Run app simultaneously, am about to start W9R1. I’ve got the iPhone 7 Plus which bumps around in my pocket annoyingly, doesn’t fit in the zip section of my running leggings, don’t fancy a back pack. It’s a problem to know what to do. Anyone tried one of those stretch belts - would it fit ? Any solutions please ?

I use one of those phone arm strap things that has taken a bit of getting used to but does the job! My iPhone six plus fits with no trouble 👍🏻

Big phone! Bah! Swap it for a little un. My niece got shot of hers 😃

i have the five Se which fits in the back pocket of my ronhill s, which seems tomhave the biggest back pocket of any tights The trail tights pocket is good and big

I have a Karrimor excite reflective jacket which has tons of pockets so I am running in that at the mo. I put the phone in the front chest pocket with big hanky to stop it sliding about

When the weather warms up it’s back to the pocket of my ronhill

You can get a “vest” which you put over your run top, like a tiny jacket but it’s all pockets See ultramarathon running website. Decathlon do the least expensive one I think. Ju-Ju uses a Salomon one but they are like buying money 😃

Loads of folks wear flip belts but I’ve not succumbed yet so can’t comment. There are lots of posts here about them so,do,read up 😃

Yep I use an arm band. Works fine and keeps phone secure and dry

I have a samsung s6 edge plus, so its massive at 5.7" albeit that is now crazily becoming the norm for phone. It's too big for the arm in my opinion so the best option I found was a thin running belt. I went for this one which seems to do the trick and you can fit a key in there and a chew bar etc at a push.

I use a running belt. any chain sports store, I also noticed they have them in TKM too. I would try the belt with the phone before you buy.

I use a flip belt and it works okay. Sometimes I stick the phone up my sleeve and wrap my buff around wrist and that keeps the phone safe and in place.

I use a cheap stretchy belt thing. I can also stuff a lightweight jacket in if I get too hot. Shorts with a horizontal pocket in the small of your back are really good. If you have a Decathlon near you they have lots of good quality cheap kit. They have running belts of all types. (Their shoes get good reviews too). Have a look online.

I got a thing from decathlon which fits my I phone 7 and attaches it to my hand. So I can loosely grip it as I run. It cost me £4. It’s great. It comes with a little clip to attach the headphone lead to my t shirt to stop it getting caught.

Smaller phone to fit in your zip? This is why I stick with my iPhone 5s

I have leggings with a pocket on the thigh which works very well for a larger phone.

I didn't get on with the flip belt at all. It never sat where I thought it should do, although perhaps I bought the wrong size or perhaps I am just too fat for it to stay round my hips - it kept riding up to my waist, where it was loose and moved around. I only have the iPhone 7 which isn't massive but am happy with this in an armband.
