The problem with running by headtorch down unlit lanes is that it is entirely impossible to see where dark damp tarmac ends and 100 metres of six inch deep standing water starts =D

It's a pity the sports equipment makers don't make running wellies! How long does it take trench foot to set in? :)

I ran through a deep puddle last week - great fun - but I did know it was there! Not so sure I'd have enjoyed an unexpected one. (I wasn't quite sure whether the 'My how I laughed!' was to be taken literally or not!)
