I decided to go for run 2 tonight, as I'm rushed off my feet tomorrow. It was the first time i'd ever been to the gym on a Saturday night , and I thoroughly enjoyed it The run itself was really hard though, then I realised that it was probably because I haven't taken a rest day between R1 and R2 . It's out of the way now though, and I am looking forward to Run 3 on Xmas eve. I never ever thought I'd get this far, but it's taught me so much about myself and the fact that it was my head not letting me run , not my legs !!! Thanks to the support from this forum, I have been encouraged by other people's blogs and helped by people's encouragement comments in support of, This isn't just a short term thing for me, I intend to stay on here and develop my running in the new year , but for now, I still have Run 3 waiting for me .....I am SO happy !!

How lovely and so encouraging too. All the best for a lovely Christmas Eve graduation. I bet you won't be able to stop grinning all Christmas Day!
well done! Have a fabulous graduation run and a chill out christmas to recover!
Good luck. What a great Christmas gift, graduation. Have fun and Merry Christmas.
Thanks for the good wishes everyone Yes barneyatarriba I have run from week 7 on the treadmill because I have been finishing work when it's dark and we have no pavements in our village, so too risky to run on the narrow winding roads. I intend to run my 3rd run of week 9 outside tomorrow though The end is almost insight and then, .........I'll call myself a 'runner' thanks to Couch25k and Laura ......and for the amazing support on here
