Yes ours is a figure of 8, very wet and muddy. it was icy last week and a bloke slipped over on a bridge and possibly broke his elbow. My mrs is a first aider and dealt with him while she waited for me in the cafe, bless her!

yeh ours is all paths but was a little tricky in places......especially where the ice hadnt melted

Easy to become a casualty and be unable to run for weeks if you are not careful.

Did the same last night...banged out 3.3 miles, first time for about 5 days, felt good.

Night off tonight, but out again tomorrow night for a Google mapped 4 mile route around Saltash (cornwall)...need a map cos I always get lost else...!

I'm loving running in the colder weather, we have snow today and it seems to energise me. Good sensible warning from bigEd about the ice though, extra caution needed because it's very easy to go ones length.

Personally feel the same, would much rather run when it's a tad nippy than when it's boiling hot.

I'm just taking it steady, watching my stride length, avoiding drain covers, and taking extra care when turning sharp corners.

Stay safe people. x

wish I could get into running in the cold. Did a charity 5k two weeks ago and not run since. Have to get back into it. Off to Spain this week and hotel has treadmill; never run on one so will give it a go and try to knock out a couple of 5k runs before heading off to meetings. Also need to man up and try running in this cold weather, I've been a whimp :)
