Just bought some running tights!

I've not bought any running gear despite now being on w7. I thought like everything else I would give up. But last few days been soooo cold and therefore today bought a running jacket (karrimor bright pink!! Hideous), running rights (I'm a size 14 with thunder thighs), base layer top which fits properly (I bought two online which are huge), running gloves and a hat! So all kitted out. Spent £35 in total so not too bad I guess!

Feeling slightly guilty thinking maybe it's still a fad and I'm not a proper runner but I think I deserve new gear for getting this far

I bought mine in sweatshop as I had some vouchers to use...can't remember how much it was but know it wasn't cheap (once it's out the washing maching I'll take a look at the brand) and it's fab...I went for a medium (it is snug but think thats the point) and i'm normally a 14. Think I need to get another one to save having the washing machine on quite so much.

Hi shelleymcb, I bought the campri baselayer in size 12. All my gear was from Sports Direct. Heading out for W7R1 in half hour or so and am trying all the gear out so will update :-)

Well, now you've got the stuff, there's no excuse not to keep going, is there? ;-)

And I'm sure that you will keep going - you've made a commitment to proper clothing that means you'll be able to run through the winter - so more than a fad, I'd say!

I have to agree with Viv!! Too late for this to be a fad...you bought the stuff!! Addict!!!! Hahahaha, another one falls to the running bug!!! :-)

If you are into W7 I think that you have passed the point of being a fad and you are committed!! YOU ARE A RUNNER!!! That being said, a runner needs proper running gear!! This wasn't a lark, you NEEDED this gear!! :-)

Keep Running!! :-)

It happens of the best of us! Resistance is futile! I thought I would never wear running gear, but I can honestly say I love my Karrimor bright pink jacket! And you should see the bizarre things on my Christmas list!

You have done it now, once you start buying running gear you are always finding something else you can't possibly run withour!! If you are at wk7 you definately deserve some running gear, let us know if it aids your running!!

Well done! You're a runner, so you need cool running gear...even pink jackets! :-) Hmmm...let me see...you have about 2 more weeks to come up with a new list of running stuff to purchase for your Graduation celebration!!!! :-) I love my base tights! They keep me nice and warm! Plus I am positive they make me run faster and jump higher. ;-) Gayle
