Heads up - Running gear

This may already have been brought to your attention but today Lidl's have loads of running gear. V neck T shirts and vest tops, 3/4 leggings with back zip pocket. Running belt with bottle, insoles, watches. They also have trainers not sure if I would run in them but they looked really good for £14.99.

I've bought Lidl running gear in the past and all of it has been excellent, their stuff sells very quickly though.

OG I just posted another thread cos I missed your post! Doh!

I bought stuff!!!!!! Came back with rather more than I went for. Blush

I might have to go back on pay day

Having got it unpacked it looks well made and the sizes look generous. I got small running capri pants but they look quite roomy. No pull cord though. They do have a zip back pocket

Been & got two vests, must say quite impressed fit wise . I'm a bit mad because before I new about lidl stuff I went & bought one from sports soccer 12.99 ! Have you tried there sports bras ? Didn't get one but my friend did . Also nearly bought some capris but changed my mind coz I have a few & allways go to nike ones . + don't get paid till tomorrow lol else I think I would have gone wild in the aisles !

My nearest one, which isn't really, it's a route march, but hey it's a lovely day, is a very tiny store and a quick scan made me think it was good a food store but oh no, there it was, the oasis in the desert. Very neatly laid out I must say and no crowds to jostle with. Just me, and it looked like no-one had touched the display at all as it was pristine. Heaven!

I wasn't needing this time but did buy some insoles to put into my gym trainers to see if they were any good for my PF. Their trainers looked good for just every day, I need good support ASICS for running though. I've had their tops before and loved them.

I had my hands on the insoles and they look good quality. I resisted those

Unfortunately, I just can't get anything to fit me from Lidl - every time I get something it has to go back. Like the size 10/12 sports bra that I got stuck in this morning....had visions of hubby getting home this evening to find me trapped in it and having to rescue me! ;-)

Liked the look of the vest tops but they're too close fitting for my comfort, even the next size up. I prefer something looser - I'm currently wearing a 'man's small' from Sports Direct. It's a shame because they're nice looking, decent quality and just the sort of thing I'd wear.

What is the sizing like? I get frustrated if I have to take things back. I've had a few things from aldi which I like but sizing is pretty small, which is fine once you know that.

I got some socks this afternoon, there were hordes scrabbling round the women's section and no one looking at the men's stuff. Why would that be? There were even men with wives and daughters rummaging in the bras and things but not a single chap looking at the menswear.

Got up early to go for leggings this morning- had obviously already been a big raid (again mainly on the women's stuff) but got a couple of pairs - I love that they have pocket sin the back.

I've stopped buying leggings without a zipped pocket in the back, they are so handy.

Not what you're looking for?
