I wear varifocals. During the summer I wore a long peaked baseball cap which worked well to keep the sun off. I wear a beanie hat in the winter. It has no brim. Need some advice. What do other people wear on their heads to protect their specs when it rains? Thanks.

I'm still wearing a baseball cap, keeps the rain off my glasses. I don't usually do hats, so don't often wear hats for warmth, being a southerner there aren't usually that many cold icy days. I know it's a lot colder up where you are, you could try a buff for the warmth element with your baseball cap over the top.
Thanks for that. I tend to run as the sun is rising and love my head being warm, but I might just try my baseball cap and see how it goes.
I'm still wearing my ventilated baseball cap in the rain. It hasn't been cold enough to need a hat when running. One day I wore a Buff (a thin, 'tube' of stretchy material) that I folded it so it had about 3 layers over my ears and the top was partially open. I could wear it folded like this under my cap if it was cold and raining.
My friend was wearing one the other day. Might give that a go as well.
I wear my Ronhill running baseball cap too, its great for keeping the head warm in cooler weather, cool in hot weather and dry in the rain.
Thanks for that.
You can get a Buff with a Visor:

That might be the best bet. Thanks
I have a transparent rain visor for orienteering to keep the rain off my specs - they are pretty cool . You can pick them up at ultrasport or compasspoint for under a tenner. E.g. At
