What is your Running Gear?

I want to know what running gear everyone has and how you feel about it. Likes, Dislikes and favourite pieces. I’m not done yet and seeking inspiration from fellow c25kers

Running shoes (Asics)

- had these from the start, might buy a second pair.

Running socks (Decathlon)

- best buy at £3.99 and I can’t run without these now, they are a great fit and I have 3 pairs to last the week!

Sports leggings (Gap)

- I’ve brought a few different ones when they have 30-50% off. Very good quality, and I get my wear out of them. These are what really make me feel like a runner and I love checking my legs out in the mirror when I put these on as the shape change and they start looking more toned.

Sports bra (M&S)

- definitely better than the previous Primarni ones I used to wear up until W3. Good investment.

Money belt/pouch (from Decathlon)

- I use it to carry my iPhone I wish it was a just a bit bigger to hold keys too.

I have a couple rain jackets if it’s raining.

In the colder months I used to wear a thermal lined Russian hat that covers the ears too! Only until 2 weeks ago I stopped wearing it, but it’s my favourite piece for the colder weather as it makes a huge difference for a comfortable run!

No particular running tops just a t shirt or long sleeve top and a fleece.

What’s your attire? The little touches can make all the difference for an enjoyable run!

ASICS trainers and running top, M&S sports bra, next running tights, Karrymor running socks and zip up neon pink jacket which always comes off! Hygge band keeps hair out of face and stops sweat going in my eyes, Fitbit, Bluetooth headphones, armband for phone and door key, cap if it’s raining, gloves if it’s cold and a lot of faffing around to get out the door!!

The Hygge band is my favourite thing and my phone armband a close second. I’m going to invest in some new running tights come payday.

Yeah it's fine, I've got a Nike top and they're much of a much really. A running colleague has recommended the New Balance Ice tops, they're supposedly fantastic for keeping you cool so that's going on the payday list!

I’ve just invested in brook shoes, I have underarmour leggings or some old leggings. Underarmour shorts on top, an underarmour general too ( clearly I hit the sales ) it gecersk t shirt. A bandana like thing but fir my mouth ( for asthma ), and the ugliest running bag I think it’s Sports direct ..it’s bit and has a water bottle holder ...I don’t look classy but I love it as it holds phone keys two inhalers and a lip balm...all essentials. Might try out some proper running gear.

Hoka trainers, made such a difference, I wouldn't be running now without them.

Sturdy by Design leggings, love them they're addictive

M and S sports bra

2 buffs ( or similar) one round neck, one keeping hair off face.

Pony tail beanie ( fantastic for long hair)

Flipbelt in warm weather. You can fit phone and keys plus still room left. I sized up and wear at hip, not waist.

Hi Vis body straps ( essential I think for road running. )

Petzl Tikka head torch for dark mornings

Last but not least, Galaxy ear buds .

My quest for wireless buds has finally come to an end! 🤗

I’m with you on the M&S sports bra! And I never thought about keeping shut off face, will search for a band now.

I haven’t gone wireless yet but I’m fine with my long cable which I loop underneath my sweater or top, it stays in place xx

Regatta do good "buff-alikes" much cheaper, certainly good enough for my needs 😊.

After a while, especially on the longer runs, my cable started to really irritate me 😐😐

I brought some wireless earphones from amazon yesterday and they arrive today! It’s getting serious now for the longer runs coming up!
