Reflective Gear - Help

Hello again - I have been trying to buy some reflective running gear that doesn't make me look like I work on the bin lorries- all I want is to have a bib or vest that I can wear over my top. I don't want a jacket, or even sleeves - or anything with a collar as I get so hot so quickly. Today I went to the Nike outlet and they had nothing! Was very surprised and went home to look online but so far have not found anything I like, even from super trendy shops like Sweaty Betty. I would like something of a decent quality, very lightweight and I want to be seen a mile away. And naturally I NEED to look very cool so that my adult children don't cringe when they see me. ✌ Can any of you lovely people help?

Hi shinyhappy123, I bought my reflective vest from ebay. Did you try that?? It was not very expensive but it is one of those yellow ones that everyone wears but they are quite visible at a distance I think. They are very light and no sleeves.

Hope this helps.

Never thought of ebay ... I will check it out tonight. Am on holiday ATM so can run in the mornings, but alas when back at work 4th January it will be back to dark evenings . Which I don't really mind, but need to be more visible, methinks x

Saw some in sports direct last week.

I could have written that myself! Also get v hot and have older kids :)

I also have adult kids. They don't cringe. They just look at their shiny red faced mother with indulgence.

How about this, a standard bib in various colours but also takes a clip-in LED at the rear for extra visibility. The rest of the RonHill Vizion range includes or is compatible with the same LED technology.

Looks like it could fit the bill - no sleeves, no collar and bright as a night in Las Vegas. Blingy accessories as well!

Amazon has loads of really cheap clothing that's excellent for running eg

amazon.co.uk/dp/B004ZUSFTO/... . Just search running clothing - a lot of ebay sellers sell on Amazon aswell.

Search Hanes Cool-Dri for some really nice tops

If you look up "tuvizo reflective vest" on amazon, that's what I have. Not really a vest, just a harness of reflective straps, fits over a top or also over a fleece or running jacket

hi-vis for daytime, reflective for night.

aldi did some reflective armbands with leds - 4 for £4. They can be joined for a belt etc. I'm sure they will be available on ebay too, and decathlon. A headtorch is a great idea too - I use an alpkit gamma.

The reflective vest above sounds good,

Hey shiny, you may already be sorted, but I got a hi vis bib from a pound shop, it's got a reflective strip across the middle. Does the job, is a 'one size'

Might be worth a look.
