Starting back after a week-long break?

Hey all.

So I was due to start week 4 of C25K at the beginning of this week, but had to stop for a while due to an injured leg (bad muscle pull). Leg's mostly better now but I'm wondering how to get back into it - I really want to finish by Chistmas. I did a quick 15-minute jog yesterday alternating 90 seconds of jogging then the same walking, but am now debating whether to repeat week 3 or go on to week 4. Also, I'm finding it really hard to motivate myself now that I've broken the cycle. Any advice?

Hi Ruth,

You could try doing a week 3 run and if that went okay, go on to W4 next time; or alternatively go for a W4 run and if it doesn't go so well, go back to W3. Personally I'd do the first. Just be nice to your leg, good warm-up etc.

I'm sure once you've got a successful run under your belt your motivation will come flooding back - let us know how it goes! :-)

thanks - did a week 3 run and did OK, but didn't cope too well. I think I'll carry on W3 'till next week! x
