I can't believe I actually did it. All of it. I feel so proud of myself!! Yay.
Day 1, week 1. I did it!: I can't believe I... - Couch to 5K
Day 1, week 1. I did it!
Congratulations, you've taken the hardest steps The rest is just doing it for a bit longer, a bit faster and in more luminous outfits
Well done and welcome
Well done! Before you know it you'll be addicted to running, talking of such things as gait, pace and pronating. It's a slippery slide Welcome!
Very well done!!!
yippee!! just think, you can now look forward to running on christmas day and being at the end of the course.... only joking! but welcome and well done!
Yeah! Welcome to the team! Be patient with yourself and follow Laura's advice. Rest between running days and just a little jog so you wont get super tired and "feel defeated". I had to learn the hard way......
Oh yeah - make sure you have good trainers!!!
Thanks to all for the welcome. I'm still buzzing, and having to fight the temptation to go again tomorrow! I even bought some running clothes from this weeks Aldi special buys.
Well done and welcome to C25k. Enjoy yourself and keep running!
Fabulous, rfawag!!!! You have already taken the hardest steps of the program...the ones from the couch to the door!! Welcome and Keep Running!!
Well done!!! It gets more fun as it goes along!
Well done! I'm on week 4 Run 1 and loving it! Also, this community is excellent for hints, tips and encouragement.
Fantastic! WELL DONE! Im a day behind you and got my second run tomorrow night. Slightly nervous but also secretly looking forward to it. Keep us posted on your progress. Best of luck and keep on running!! x
Just a few hours behind then, I do the 2nd run in the morning. I can't believe I'm even saying this, but I can't wait. I felt like I had really achieved something when I did the whole thing. As the worst runner and most devout sport hater in the world, it was a monumental personal victory for me! Well done to you too, if it works out as planned, we should both graduate on the same day!! x
What a fab forum this is, so much support and so many welcomes. Thanks to everybody who has taken the time to egg me on with quite possibly the most ridiculous idea I ever had. Me, running. Phahaha! But, I've started now, and quite like the idea of having a green badge. I will huff and puff my way through this if it kills me (but I hope it doesn't!)
Yay well done you - I'm on week 6 but week 1 seems like yesterday. I was almost on my knees after W1R1 but now I can run for 20 minutes which just astounds me. The body is a marvellous thing and can get fit amazingly quickly. Keep going - I'm feeling about a zillion percent more vibrant than I did 6 weeks ago. Best wishes.
Yay - Well done. I will be doing my 2nd night tonight, I stopped smoking 6 weeks ago and like you was so proud of myself when i completed day 1, couldn't believe that I was actually capable of it, doing it on a treadmill though, not yet brave enough to venture outdoors.
