I did it! Week 3 day 1!

Quite a step up from last week but feeling a great sense of achievement and exhilaration. My goal this week is to correct running gait from heel fall to ball of foot. I noticed today that I was leading with my heel. Immediately felt different when I changed to ball of foot first. Calves now working much harder . I’m now running more mindfully. I Remembered post run stretches. 🏃🏾‍♀️

Thank you. It is definitely more challenging but was doable and so worth it. So I hope I can keep up the momentum. Thanks for your support. Makes a world of difference. Running is a solo activity but the feedback is valuable . Have a wonderful week.

I just did run 2 of week 3. I also find I’m starting to pay more attention to gait and breathing. Well done and keep it up! 😊

Very well done! And you managed to stay upright! Although I didn’t finish my run I felt it is definitely doable.

Of course you will. If I can you definitely can!

Well done... running mindfully is great, but whilst taking the advice re how we should run , do run how you run... you may try to change that way too drastically and it does not suit you... check out the last post on the Catch up Corner too, maybe.. focusing on the way we run and how we land:)healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

Well done to you, although I’m on W9 I still tend to check out my breathing
