....writing my first blog and completing W9R3!!

I have been lurking in the shadows here for a while and reading all the blogs and all the supportive comments on this website has really spurred me on. So I just wanted to say thank you from the shadows! Its been a huge encouragement - I still can't quite believe I have completed the programme and am not too far away from the elusive 5K.

Having never been a runner, even at school, but now ICANN say I am. great programme and the incredibly supportive community- well done NHS. And to anyone contemplating starting, don't hesitate, just do it!! You won't regret it. I feel happier, healthier and more chilled in ages. Go for it!!

And thanks again from the shadows and see you in 5K+

Thanks - feeling quite happy! Certainly planning to keep on running, firstly bag the 5K and then maybe try out the 5K+ podcasts. Have you tried them?

in reply toBogfairy

I've tried the stepping stone one and it was definitely a challenge, although it did help to steady my pace

CONGRATULATIONS BOGFAIRY!!! Wear that shiny badge with pride! :-) I posted under questions who graduated this week. Will you please add your name? I thought it would be neat to check back in a year and see where our graduating class is at.

Congratulations on completing C25K. Bogfairy!

BTW A friend gave me the nickname Peatbog Fairy after one particular hillwalking incident when I sunk into the peat bog up to my thighs, and him knowing I enjoy the Celtic rock band, the Peatbog Faeries
