One year running!!...and two days

Just realised that I first laced up my trainers to begin the C25K on the 29th April 2013, nine weeks later I completed the programme and have never looked back.

Apart from a couple of weeks due to illness I have run every week and until recently was doing 10k x 3 each week. More recently I started the 5 x 50 challenge and have managed to run, cycle and Zumba over 150 miles so far. In total i have lost 4 stone in weight and dropped 4 dress sizes, but more importantly I feel great, energised and healthy with a good amount of pride in myself.

I would like to say a big thank you to my friend who mentioned this programme to me last year and got me started but mainly I want to say a big thank you ( with hugs) to everyone on this site. I read the posts nearly everyday and everyone is so supportive and encouraging that there have definitely been days when I ran because of you. THANKYOU xx

Well done Tready! It just goes to show how we can turn ourselves round isn't it. Where would many of us be now if not for this wonderful programme

Thank you. There are days when it's hard but I feel much better after my run than I do if I don't go at all. So for me really the best choice is always to run.
