I'm not sure how, but I ran thirty minutes again a few hours ago. I got a reasonable distance too, by the look of things. I know it's just the start and now I need to keep it up, but I just finished Couch 2 5K!
How I got this far in under three months, I don't know, but I did.

I just wish I felt better about it. In previous weeks, I felt like I was setting myself up for the next run, getting better each time, but I have to say that I've been feeling the extra effort since week 7. The final run was hard, just like the ones before it, so I think I'll be sticking to a basic 5K for a while, just until I have the hang of it.
On the other hand, the weather's been getting cooler and I do seem to have been a little ill recently, so maybe I'll perk up later.
I know what you mean Prince of Cats. I struggled through W8 and W9, graduated, (3 weeks ago) felt great, then sort of lost my focus ever since. Bit annoyed, because I bought some expensive running shoes as a reward for completing C25K and have only worn them once!
Back on it tomorrow though - am planning on going through it all again but trying to increase my speed. I think having a new goal will help. So stick with it, be pleased with yourself and celebrate!
I've kind of got into the habit of running, so focus won't be an issue. It's good to whack the volume up to full and just run. Gives me a chance (as with baths, showers and toilet breaks) to just let my mind wander and think.
Mostly, I think about how much my calves ache... (I also have some issues with needing to stretch out my ham-strings after years wearing Cuban heels - even a manly man likes being 3" taller)
Congratulations, Prince_of_Cats, well done. Know what you mean about focus and planning your next week's runs on the programme. I was over the moon to graduate but I did find most of the longer runs really hard, and after graduating I felt a bit lost without that structure, not knowing quite what to do. Cue the C25k+ podcasts! I did Stepping Stones last week and enjoyed it. I was a bit worried about how it might go, but it was great to hear Laura again and there are some really good tips on technique etc. I still haven't actually done 5k yet, I am a total slow coach, so that's my next objective!
Meanwhile, you should feel really proud of your achievement!
