Week 9 run 2, beginning to feel like a runner now! I actually changed my gait a bit, less of a shuffle and more of a jog. My muscles feel more sore and achey, which I figure is a good thing, and I managed to run a leetle bit further in the 30 minutes than in run 1 (about 3.4 k rather than 3.3). It'll take me a while to work up to 5k, but I think I'll get there this year, all being well.
Have to say it was a lovely morning and it felt good to be out enjoying the sunshine. Was passed by 2 faster runners but I don't mind about that still get a kick out of passing a walker, albeit incredibly slowly LOL

Loving the passing of a walker, I get a buzz when that happens too. Its good to play about with your stride a bit because you may find that you can adjust it more easily later on when it comes to hills, up and down. I find I can lengthen my stride now on the flat quite a lot after playing about with it then I shorten it when going up hills. I'm a great believer in trying things MY way. Good luck with you graduation run, hope its a nice day for it.
