The first hurdle in terms of motivation anyway, each time I've tried to restart this in the past year (quite a lot) I've managed two runs, and then I'd not go for a run for days, or I'd just stop all together, so reaching the first run with only a day rest feels like an achievement, and like I might actually stick with it! Baring in mind when I was restart I always tried to start at week 3 or even week 4 I think going back to the beginning was a good idea!
The first half today I was running up hill and thinking why is this so haaard!!! but it was cold, up hill, and I was facing strong air resistance from the wind, leaving me really out of breath, but the way back was quite the opposite and not challenging at all, but at least I know I'm ready for week 2! bring it on!

Well done Jodie. I don't do hills yet, so am in admiration of you. I've done Week 3 run 1 today. Really pleased that i kept on jogging and didn't stop. Nice to have a new pattern too. Looking forward to 2nd run on Friday before having my tooth out under GA. Hope I'm ok for run 3 Monday.
the hill isn't steep or anything its just an incline along the main road, but still enough to add resistance. I'll be changing the route soon anyway as I'll be moving up to uni. Hopefully I can stick to it then.
