Week 1. Run 3.

My third run of week one was an early morning outing. 5am to be precise. I must be nuts, or dedicated to this programme. Lol.

I had a quick check on the weather before setting off. It was 3C, with very little wind.

Headtorch on, along with reflective bands attached to my flailing limbs. Music cranked up, with the Rolling Stones playing Brown Sugar, and away I went.

It was a little slippy under foot - but I managed OK with some tentative steps. I was huffing and puffing quite a bit and found myself really concentrating on what I was doing. At the half way point, the bell sounded on my app, I turned and headed back to my start point.

I was pretty dumbfounded at the end of my run. My finish point was within 20 yards of my start. Wow. I was almost consistent in what I'd been doing. I'm chuffed.

Heres to Week 2. I can't wait ☺

Well done! A great start to the day. Brown Sugar! Not on my playlist...yet. Going to collect it. I had Help shuffled on during my last run. Apt. Have a great Friday!

I'll definitely make the most of today, because it's my Sunday. I'm back at work Saturday. Shift work can get so confusing. Lol. Anyways, you too have a great day and enjoy your weekend🍷

Well done you (from another Insomniac early morning runner!). It's a great way to start the day isn't it? I usually find the warm glow stays with me for the whole day afterwards. Nice consistency too, that should stand you in good stead as you move along through this adventure.

I must admit, I did enjoy the early start. Maybe it's because I'm an early bird, rather than a night owl... I've still got that glow you mention - hopefully it'll last. It's a nice feeling ☺

Fingers crossed about the consistency.
