I've Graduated!

Whoop, Whoop, I’ve graduated! After yesterday’s run I couldn’t wait the rest day so I decided to run today. I went out even earlier today and got covered in cobwebs again. The spiders are prolific at this time of year. Nice morning for running, I must admit doing this programme I have learned that I prefer running in the morning before breakfast. It sets me up for the day. I usually have a cup of tea before I go out. But then again I have a cup of tea before I do anything. Must be the Irish in me. I just had a small banana afterwards and I had to get to work as I had an early start today. I will have some porridge later this morning. I am saddened that I will be leaving Laura behind. She has made me laugh, swear, cry and everything else in between but it’s been worth it. I can’t believe that 10 weeks ago (I had a blip at W4 and repeated it)I couldn’t run without getting out of breath and this morning I ran for 35 minutes and could have run further if I have not been in work early. I am not too sure to do next I have the B210K podcast but I have also got the speed and stamina ones too. Can I do the B210K and interspace it with the speed + stamina podcasts. To all of you out there who have commented on my blogs, answered my questions and kept me motivated, thank you! To anyone who is starting the programme or having a hard time, don’t give up. The programme name is C25K and although I have achieved the 5K, I haven’t done it in 30 minutes but that will come in time. I was overweight to start with and still am. I see myself as a work in progress. If you fall down on a week, pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get on with it. If you want to repeat a week that is ok, it’s your choice. The important thing is that you take steps forward be they be big steps or small steps. Now, where is that badge?

Well done! As for wondering whether you can intersperse B210K with the podcasts... Of course you can - the world is your oyster :D

Good luck for post graduation & don't forget to message JR21 to ask for your badge!
