Yes I've completed wk9 r 3 whoop . Thanks for all the advice from you all on my journey . What's to do now ? I think i will keep up running the 30mins for a couple of weeks and then gradually increase the the time till i get to 5k . Im doing 2.5 miles at the mo in 30 mins so I will work on that. I don't want to make mistakes by doing too much too soon as i have in the past so am I right in thinking I can add on 3mins a week when I'm ready ? Happy running all

Great work, Well done to you! That's a brilliant achievement, good to have the shiny Graduate symbol isn't it!

I graduated in August and have spent the last few weeks doing exactly what you suggest you might do. The jump to 5k from 30 minutes is just a minor mental adjustment but the course has conditioned you to it so I reckon you'll be comfortably doing that soon. I now do Parkruns on a Saturday which might be an idea to kill two birds with one stone, you can run for 30 minutes and walk the rest if you want, great fun. Good luck!

Well done - I graduated a couple of weeks ago and am doing the same as you, started with 33 minutes, now at 36 minute runs, and my pace getting a little faster each time without killing myself. Soon I will do 38 than 40 minutes and consolidate at that. My long term goal is a 7 min/km pace, ie. 35 minutes to do 5km, and in between I am looking forward to trying out park runs, probably in last place for the next few months!!
