I run on a Tuesday, rest day Wednesday then run again Thursday. I want to restart Zumba which is on a Wednesday evening. Will it be ok to do this do you think? I've just done W4R1 today.

I only have one lazy day a week but even then usually have a walk. i run 3 times, alternate days I do swim/aqua gym/zumba/pilates and recently started Tai Chi, its very different from all my other exercise routines but I'm trying to find something to teach me whole body control with relaxation thrown in, if you knew me you would understand my reasoning behind this!! So rest days can be anything other than running and a good mixture could do more good than harm. Cycling is also a good one but my days of riding a bike on our busy roads are over I'm afraid.
I do two exercise classes a week for the over fiftys and try to get a walk in
I go to the gym (30 minutes hard work) on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Run Wednesday (it has been morning, but now I'm back at school it's going to be evenings), gym Thursday morning, trampolining Thursday evening, gym Friday morning, run sometime Friday, slob about on Saturday (shopping, washing, ironing etc) and run Sunday. Also try to give the dog a walk everyday. I've completed W4 with no ill effects except now I know I have knees when kneeling down.
I commute to work on my bike during the week and try to give myself one full rest day a week (usually Sat or Sun). I think anything that is low impact is fine for a rest day.
